Our unit is a 2005 Winnebago Adventurer 38J- a beautiful design with a floor plan that my wife loves BUT the paint has spider cracking over the entire unit! Our initial contact with Winnebago in 2008 was frustrating- we were told that since we were second owners (we bought it in 2006 from a Winnebago dealer) we had limited coverage. We sent photos but no there was no response. Questions regarding potential causes, the construction and painting process, possible fixes, repairs got no answers. What I did find out from ex Winnebago service people was that Winnebago was familiar with the spider cracking problem ( apparently it is with the jellcoat) and that some customers had reached agreements with Winnebago however as part of the resolution a nondisclosure clause is required as part of the customer agreement. We now treat our unit as NEGATIVE advertising for Winnebago - how many sales has Winnebago lost - many, many! Will they loose more - very likely!

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Winnebago Industries Cons: Resolution of problem.

Location: San Marcos, Texas

I also purchased a 2005 Winnebago Adventurer 37B as a second owner. I have experienced the Winnebago typical problems of Leaking Windshields with rusty frames, Clear coat paint peeling off around the entire top 6 inches of the coach and last but not least the Spider web cracks or "Crazing" of the entire side panels on both sides.

This is nothing but poor quality from a company that advertises to be the best in the industry in Quality and customer satisfaction. Winnebago for obvious financial reasons denies any and all responsibility for all of these very common deficiencies in their products. They say it is well out of their 12 month, 15,000 mile warranty obligation. I would be willing to bet that there are several hundred Winnebago's produced since 2000 and maybe before that have experienced some or all of these problems.

The facts are out there on the forums and customer reviews that Winnebago has been producing shoddy products for many, many years.

Shame on you Winnebago for forgoing your customer base and turning a deaf ear and uncaring attitude to the many who buy your products. I have owned 5 different types of RVs over the years and my next RV will NOT be a Winnebago product.
