After reading scores of "reveiws" on Pissed Consumer I would tend to think that people should run away from Winnebago. Then I really read these on line, one sided *** sessions I wish I could see what winnebago must be getting from these "consumers".

There are 2 sides to every story. From not understanding the need to wait for a new front to be molded ( be glad they have the molds still. No other mnf would have) to evidently not checking everything at delivery. Amazing to read all of the nit picking little repairs needed.

So much for self suffiecency...to help your self on little things.

I will still look at winnebago Towables to purchase...Many other builders are much worse it seems. Probaly make a lot of RV's mad but seems like many of you like to be that way, anyways.

Reason of review: I like Winnebago..

When you buy a brand new RV ( winni fifth wheel) there should not be an expectation of something falling a part on it every trip out.Molding pops off every trip , window seals are separating. Slides leak while traveling down the road.

Water leaks from refrigerator. Propane heater malfunctioned. Metal at base of exterior stress fractured just from going down the road, etc.

this thing has spent more time in the first year at the shop than in our drive way. We highly do not recommend the Winnebago fiftwheel rv.

after hearing all of the problem and issues you all are having with the newer winebago via, i have changed my mind of purchasing a newer winnebago via but i think i will fix my little winnebago 2002 hd rialta and be happy with what we have. my issues are not so much with winnebago but with the vw chassis.what a money pit.

i guess with unit being 15 years old and with 82,000 miles on it ,some chassis work needs to be done. my issues has been that no one knows how to work on it and its hard to find the parts to fix.

last time, i had to purchase the part on ebay and take the part to the service center so they could fix it. not a good way to run a service center.

The Rialta was a unique product and has long been out of production. You can't blame the service center. No auto manufacturer continues to produce parts for vehicles over sixteen years old.
