I had the same thing with mine. I was in Nashville and had to go to home depot and buy a drill, bolts and washers to get back to FL.
The hitch was doping down because of the way they spot welded the bottom strip to the "C" frame. So ***! They put the hitch bolts on the little strip of metal and the bolts go between the "c" beams. I removed the rear bumper and re welded the entire piece back together and left the bolts in for more support.
Now for all those who say I have too much tongue weight, not the case. I can move my 5x8 loaded myself. It was a *** design from the factory. The tongue weight on mine is 175 lbs.
EVERYONE SHOULD CHECK THEIR UNITS. They break apart slowly and you will have things dragging. The hardened bolts worked fine but wanted more so I welded it also.
Funny how I was out of warranty when I noticed it. 1 year warranty is pathetic on something so expensive.
