Our greatest disappointment has been spending almost $100K on a brand new 2014 Winnebago ERA and learning that the dealer, other Winnebago service centers AND Winnebago headquarters in Forest City, IA will NOT stand by the new Winnebago or service it properly. All the homework and research we did prior to the purchase could not have prepared us for the absolute nightmare we encountered with Winnebago right after we drove off the lot.

The problems with the new Winnebago RV have been countless and have caused our family a lot of grief. On one occasion we were also put in harms way in a most disturbing way. I will add more to this post, which will include names, all our correspondence and other details, depending on how Winnebago resolves issues with the new RV. As of now it is over 40 days and Winnebago still will not bring proper resolution.

We have been connecting with other Winnebago owners nationally who want to learn more and/or are considering taking real action. Contact us at: INFO (at) WINNEBAGOLEMON (dot) ORG.

Product or Service Mentioned: Winnebago Industries Rv.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $120000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

My friend and I spent a lot more than that and still have MAJOR problems that are not fixed and our warranty is about to run out. Winniebago products are very poor as regards to fit and finish, my rv the drivers door has flown open three times now while driving down the highway, think that is a safety problem, yes the Dorr us built by Winniebago.

Did anyone ever get their issues resolved?

I bought a 2015 BM 170C - ERA Touring Couch Class B ...

started having issues in less than 2k miles ...

it's been in the shop more than on the road!

Paid over 100k for 2015 Navion and I can't risk taking it more than a few miles from home because the parking brake locks up and won't release. Replace assembly and problem reoccurred after another 800 miles and only 2800 miles on vehicle.

Me recedes dealer service good but they can't seem to find a permanent solution.

Titans dealer useless I problem. May seek legal remedy

@Ed

Ed ... I'm having electrical issues with my 2015 Touring Couch as well ...

it's currently in the shop ... they are unable to "replicated" the issues even though I have several eye witnesses ... I have contacted winnebago numerous times ... one of the many issues ....

the air conditioner is not working in the cab or the roof and it was 100+ degrees out ... their response ... "you can still drive it, can't you" ... $120k and that's what I get!

I was sweating my XXX off!!!

There has to be some type of class action suite ... I'm seeing several others who are having the same problems with the sprinters.

Our maiden voyage in our Brand New Winnebago View Profile / Mercedes Benz Sprinter, was more like a tour of the Sprinter Dealers around the country. We wasted 1 whole week of our 2 week vacation sitting at dealers, trying to fix a DEF problem, that never got resolved. Currently, the motorhome is at the dealer that we purchased it from for over a month.

We have not had one call from Winnebago or Mercedes Benz.

We may have to force them to buy it back with the Texas Lemon Law.
