We are in our second year with a new Winnebago Vista LX. The first year we went to Minnesota then Maine and back to Florida, The TV in the bedroom flew off the wall during our travels and shattered, The TV mount was way to heavy for what support was available to hold the TV to the wall.
We had numerous electrical problems which were ultimately covered under warranty. We then experiences electrical issues that caused the motor home to be barely drivable. The dealer we purchased the motor home from would not service the motor issues and stated we had to go to Tampa Florida for the only Ford repair facility anywhere near us that could service our engine. Several days later and over a $1000 in repairs it seams rodents can enter the engine compartment.
It seems the rodents must have chewed up the electrical cables leading to the engine. We had to replace the whole electrical harness, We are now in our second season far from home in rural Maine. We can not use our full bath in the rear of the motor home because water is spilling out all over the floor. No idea what we can do.
We have tried everything we can to remedy the problem. We can not find the source of the leak. All in all, the most frustrating thing is the water leakage. What can we do?
We are hardly using the bathroom. We shower outside the motor home. We are not using the washer and dryer at all anymore. We have used Draino twice , but I do not believe the problem is a plugged drain as water is going steadily into our black and gray water tanks and is not coming up into the shower or sinks.
We have opened up everything in the motor home we can relatively easily get to and we can not find the source of the leak. I worry about the flooring and we do not want to damage the motor home further because of the water leaks.
Very frustrating. This problem has made our motor home uncomfortable to even live in at this point.
